The “Smartmeter” is an interactiv intelligent Counter, which transmit consumption figures of gas, electricity and heat to the electricity supplier. Through these electronic power meters one could spare energy and costs. This simplifies the billing. Also the comsumer benefits from this. Via smartphone, computer or display the consumer can examine his or her consumption figures to control electric items more purposeful. In a fully networking system interactive items can automatically start up, if for example a lot of power from renewable ressources (like a strong sun radiation or fresh winds) is avalable, which would be much cheaper.
